Updating domain registration information
Registrars use domain registrant information to identify the owner of a domain registration. The domain registrant information is not the same as the primary account information, it is important to keep these two sets of contacts accurate.
-
Open the client area click Account and then Login.
- Click on Domains.
- Select the desired domain.
- Hit Contact information.
- The registrar uses the contact details to send information relevant to your domain regarding upcoming renewals and contact information confirmations.
Use existing account contact Select this if you want the domain contacts to match the account contact details.
Specify custom information below Select this if you want to input information that is different from the account holder manually.
- Select Save changes to finalize.
Managing domain DNS
Webs DNS will remain active until September 30th, and customers will not need to take any action on their DNS settings.
For immediate DNS changes please contact Exact Hosting support.
Canceling services
Services can be canceled within the Exact Hosting client area. To cancel a domain, the auto-renew must be disabled and the domain will naturally expire and leave your account.
Cancel web hosting services
-
Open the client area click Account and then Login.
- Click on Services.
- Find the service you wish to adjust and click anywhere on that row.
- Click Request cancellation.
- Briefly describe your reason for cancellation, check the confirmation box, select the Cancellation type, and click Request cancellation.
Canceling a domain name renewal
To cancel a domain, disable the auto-renew feature within the Exact Hosting client dashboard and allow the domain to expire fully.
Note: During this time, the registrar may continue to send renewal reminder notifications that can be disregarded if you no longer want the domain.
-
Open the client area click Account, and then Login.

- Select the correct domain by clicking anywhere on its row.
