Managing enhanced email accounts

The enhanced email service, also known as hosted email, can be managed from your Exact Hosting account. You can add additional users, remove users, and change passwords. 

Purchasing Enhanced Email

  1. Log into Exact Hosting.
  2. Click Services, followed by Order new services.

  3. Select Enhanced Email and press Order now.

  4. Enter a domain to assign for this service.
    Selection Function
    Register a new domain The order will include a newly registered domain of your choosing.
    Transfer your domain from another registrar You can transfer your domain to Exact Hosting.
    Note: A domain transfer key (EPP key) is required.
    I will use my existing domain and update my nameservers If you already have a domain registered with us.
    Note: If your domain uses other nameservers besides Exact Hosting, you must update those manually.

  5. Configure the amount of mailboxes needed and hit Continue.

  6. Click Checkout to complete your order.

Adding an account

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Select Services.

  3. Press Active to enter your service.

  4. Hit Setup mailbox.

  5. Fill in the required fields and press Save.

Removing an account

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Select Services.

  3. Press Active to enter your service.

  4. Select Delete.

  5. Hit OK to confirm.

Editing an email account password

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Select Services.

  3. Press Active to enter your service.

  4. Hit Edit.

  5. Enter the new password and select Save.

Adding a forwarding only account

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Select Services.

  3. Press Active to enter your service.

  4. Hit Setup forwarding mailbox.

  5. Create the forwarding-only email account and where this will be forwarded.  Select Save to complete.

Adding an alias account

  1. Log in to the client area.
  2. Select Services.

  4. Hit Add alias.

  5. Fill in the desired alias fields and press Save.
