This article explains how to enable or disable auto-renew on multiple domains at once from your Exact Hosting client area. Use the bulk action when you want to apply the same auto-renew setting to several domains without opening each one individually.
About bulk auto-renew
Auto-renew keeps your domain from expiring by automatically charging your payment method on file at the start of each renewal term. The bulk action lets you toggle this setting for many domains in a single step, which is useful if you are taking over a portfolio of domains or standardizing your renewal strategy.

Before you begin
- An Exact Hosting account with active domains. Only active domains support the auto-renew bulk action.
- A valid payment method on file. Auto-renew uses your saved payment method when the renewal date arrives.
Step 1: Sign in to the Exact Hosting Portal
Open the Exact Hosting Portal and sign in.
Step 2: Open the Domains section
From your client area, click the Domains section box to view all domains on your account.
Step 3: Select the domains to update
Check the box next to each active domain you want to enable or disable auto-renew for. You can select as many as you need in one batch.
Step 4: Open the auto-renewal bulk action
With your domains selected, click More, then click Auto-renewal status.
Step 5: Apply the new setting
Choose Enable or Disable to apply the setting to all selected domains.
Warning: Disabling auto-renew on a domain means it will expire at the end of its current term unless you renew it manually. Set a calendar reminder if you turn auto-renew off.
Next steps
- Confirm your payment method is current. Auto-renew can fail if your card on file is expired. Review your billing settings in the client area.
