This guide will cover the process of suspending a cPanel account in WHM.
There are a number of reasons you may want to temporarily or permanently suspend an account.
The process for suspending and un-suspending accounts is the same except for the button to finalize at the end.
- In WHM type "Manage Account Suspension" into the search box find and click “Manage Account Suspension”.
- Select either the domain name or the username of the account you wish to manage.
- Provide a reason for the suspension such as: non-payment, bandwidth overages, ToS violations, or hacked websites click suspend to finalize.
If you are unsuspending you can do the same process, but you do not have to provide a reason and click unsuspend.
