Automatically detect which setting to use. Note: If you are unsure of what setting to choose we recommend that you select this setting. |
| Backup Mail Exchanger | Configure the server to be a backup mail exchanger for this domain. |
| Local Mail Exchanger | Accept mail locally for the new domain. |
| Remote Mail Exchanger | Do not accept mail locally for this domain. |

Login to cPanel from exacthosting.com or login to your cPanel by going to yourdomain.tld/cpanel
- Navigate to the Email panel and select Email Routing.
- On this page select the mail routing option that is best suited for you. In most cases, our clients will be using either:
- Local Mail Exchanger: This option is used when your email accounts are hosted on the same server as your website as mail will be routed from you website locally.
- Remote Mail Exchanger: This option is used when your email accounts are hosted on a different server than your website (Example: Enhanced Email Product, Office365, Google).
Once you have selected the option that is best suited for you click Change to save the selected settings.
