Before beginning any development on your website, it is essential to update your domain's name servers. This ensures that traffic to your domain will be directed to our servers correctly.
Steps to Update Your Name Servers
- Log in to your domain registrar's account.
- Locate your domain management or DNS settings.
- Replace the current name servers with the ones we’ve provided to you.
- Disable DNSSEC if it is enabled:
- DNSSEC must be turned off, or your domain may fail to propagate correctly.
- If you're unsure whether DNSSEC is enabled, please contact your registrar’s support.
⚠️ Propagation Time: It can take 24 to 48 hours for changes to take full effect across the internet.
Important Notes
- You cannot begin development until the name server update is complete.
- We’ve backed up your current DNS records—this means there will be zero downtime for your existing email services or websites.
- If you're having trouble updating your name servers or don’t have access:
- Contact us immediately.
- We can help you transfer your domain to our service or register a new domain.
- Domain transfers can take up to 14 days.
