This guide provides the standard email server settings for email accounts hosted through TaxPro, which uses ExactHosting’s EmailArray service.
Use these settings when configuring email in applications such as:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Apple Mail
- Mozilla Thunderbird
- iPhone / iPad Mail
- Android Mail
- Other desktop or mobile email clients
Incoming Mail Settings
You can choose either IMAP (recommended) or POP depending on how you want your email managed.
Option 1: IMAP (Recommended)
IMAP keeps your email synchronized across all devices.
- Server (Host Name): imap.emailarray.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
Best for accessing email on multiple devices (desktop, phone, tablet).
Option 2: POP
POP downloads email to a single device and may optionally leave a copy on the server.
- Server (Host Name): pop.emailarray.com
- Port: 995
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
Recommended only if you primarily use one device to check email.
Outgoing Mail Settings (SMTP)
Use the following settings to send email:
- Server (Host Name): smtp.emailarray.com
- Port: 465
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
If port 465 does not work, try:
- Port: 587
- Encryption: STARTTLS
Login / Authentication Settings
For both incoming and outgoing mail:
- Username: Your full email address
- Example: you@yourdomain.com
- Password: The email account password set in your client area or webmail panel
SMTP authentication must be enabled (use same credentials as incoming server).
Webmail Access
You can access your email through a web browser:
URL:
https://webmail.yourdomain.com
Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
Login with:
- Full email address
- Email account password
Troubleshooting Tips
- Double-check that SSL/TLS encryption is enabled.
- Ensure your username is the full email address (not just the part before @).
- If sending fails on port 465, try port 587 with STARTTLS.
- Verify your password if authentication errors occur.
If you continue experiencing issues, contact support and provide:
- The email address being configured
- The email client and device
- Any error message received
