The TLD reference chart is a quick-lookup document that lists policy and lifecycle details for every Top Level Domain (TLD) Exact Hosting supports. This article explains how to open the chart, filter it, and find the specific information you need.
About the TLD reference chart
The TLD reference chart is maintained to be as accurate and up to date as possible. It covers details such as registration terms, renewal grace periods, deletion timing, transfer rules, and other TLD-specific policies.
Note: If you have a specific question about any value in the chart, contact Exact Hosting Support. Some TLD policies change without much notice from the registry.
Before you begin
- A modern web browser. The chart is hosted as a Google Sheet, so any current desktop browser works best.
- The TLD you want to look up. Knowing the exact extension (for example .com, .co.uk, or .shop) will save time.
Step 1: Open the chart
Go to Enom TLD Reference Chart to open the TLD reference chart in a new tab.
Step 2: Apply a preset filter view
Filter views let you narrow the list to a specific policy area without changing the data for other users.
- Click the Filter views icon at the top of the sheet.
- Select one of the preset filters from the list. For example, choose Deleted before expiry date to see TLDs that the registry deletes a set number of days before the expiry date when the domain is not auto-renewed or manually renewed.
- Browse the other preset views for additional ways to slice the list.
Step 3: Sort a column
Sorting helps when you are scanning for the highest, lowest, or alphabetically first value in a column.
- Click the drop-down icon in the upper-right corner of the column heading you want to sort.
- Choose Sort A to Z or Sort Z to A.
Step 4: View hidden cell details
Some cells include extra notes that are not visible by default.
- Look for a small black triangle in the upper-right corner of a cell. This indicates additional information is available.
- Hover over the cell to reveal the hidden details.
