WordPress and Softaculous make it easy for you to update themes and change themes anytime you want. Updating themes is an easy way to ensure site security is up to date and make sure features are working properly.
Updating a theme
- Log in to the client area.
- Select services.
- Click Active.
- Choose Login to cPanel.
- Press the WordPress icon under scripts.
- Press the Admin icon for access to WP admin.
- Select Appearance and then Themes.
- If a theme has a pending update, press update now.
Changing themes
- Log in to the client area.
- Select Services.
- Click Active.
- Choose Login to cPanel.
- Press the WordPress icon under scripts.
- Press the Admin icon for access to WP admin.
- Select Appearance and then Themes.
- Press Activate on the new theme to switch.
- After installation, select Visit site to view the new theme.
Softaculous auto theme update
- Log in to the client area.
- Select Services.
- Click Active.
- Choose Login to cPanel.
- Press the WordPress icon under scripts.

Press the pencil icon to edit.
- Select Upgrade theme now, and softaculous will automatically update the current theme.
Note: Check the boxes if you wish for softaculous to process any updates available automatically.
